A global and comprehensive approach to health, it’s scope, what defines it, how to test and evaluate true health, how to assess, score, rank one’s current health status. How to interpret one’s health level, and the implications of that score with its risks and or benefits. Health is not the absence of disease, medication, sickness, obesity, or such. This only tells us what we don’t have, but it does not tell us what we do have, or what we may have lost in regard to our health. The first step is to test and evaluate one’s health, then we can know the steps needed to be taken to improve, regain, or stop the loss of health.
I have argued for years that we do not have a health care system in America. We have a disease-management system – one that depends on ruinously expensive drugs and surgeries that treat health conditions after they manifest rather than giving our citizens simple diet, lifestyle and therapeutic tools to keep them healthy.
